Saturday, February 13th 2027 KILLCODE W/ A Constant Murder hit the stage at The Jazz!!

Killcode
KILLCODE is a five piece American based rock band that hails from New York City. Their unique sound and style has been described as Southern infused Rock/ Metal with melodic, hard edged vocals. KILLCODE’s songs are hooky super charged anthems with big guitars and driving rhythms that pumps a shot of adrenaline into your system the moment you hear them.
KILLCODE, founded by vocalist/frontman Tom Morrissey and guitarist Chas, laid down the KILLCODE foundation with a couple of tracks they recorded at their home studio. After listening back, they knew they were on to something big! Next up would be recruiting long time musical companion Erric Bonesmith on bass guitar and Rob Noxious on the drums to complete their rhythm section. With all members coming from established projects prior to KILLCODE, the band quickly raised eyebrows and landed on bills with the likes of Godsmack & Sevendust. KILLCODE also provided main support to Brett Scallions on the Re Fueled East Coast tour.
To date, the band have released ‘To Die For’, a six song EP, a second six song EP, ‘Taking it All’ and the self titled album KILLCODE. Both E.Ps charted well nationally and gained the band critical acclaim worldwide. The album charted in the #2 position for a week on BILLBOARD’s Mid-Atlantic Heatseekers Charts. The song “Breaking Away,” off of ‘Taking It All’, was featured in the inspirational documentary, ‘DRESSED’, directed by David Swajeski and starring fashion designer Nari Manivong and “6am Again”, which appears on both their debut EP, “To Die For” and the self titled full length album, has been featured on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM.

A Constant Murder
A Constant Murder is Chris Genovese, Joey Solimini, Gino Ciprian, and Michael Lambert. They played in various original punk, hardcore, metal, and rock bands – both together and separately – and are from the Scranton / NEPA area. The band got a quiet start in 2023 but has roots from the late 80’s and early 90’s. Mike’s first band was a hardcore / punk cover band called American Youth with friends Brian Craig (co-owner of The Bog) and Aaron Ferranti – both from the Scranton based band Side Over (570 legends!). Another bandmate from back then had reached out and wanted to recruit Mike on guitar to start a new hardcore band with Brian and Aaron. Mike started writing riffs to use for that project. Unfortunately, Brian had become sick, but the group wasn’t completely sure what was to go on. He continued to write and organize the riffs into songs only to find out Brian would, sadly pass away (Rest in POWER). He then decided to complete those songs in Brian’s honor and posted them to the Facebook group NEPA Hardcore Punk Nostalgia. An old friend, Joey Solimini (all the drums) reached out and suggested they use the songs for a new project. We went through a bass player, but it unfortunately didn’t work out. Determined to keep progressing, Joey and Mike went into a studio with the intention of recording the first full length record, but despite nailing 15 songs, technical difficulties prevented that. They were able to DIY salvage 5 songs worth of drum tracks (with some added DIY tracking and help from Azarius Marat) and started working on finishing the recording of the ‘Cages’ EP. In 2025 Mike reached out to childhood friend and frequent collaborator Chris Genovese to play bass. (Chris and Mike also worked together in a restaurant, which will be relevant in a few lines). Chris learned the entire set for the Electric City Music Conference with just weeks before the show and as well, laid all the bass tracks for the EP. The trio continued for a few months, released the EP and played a lot of shows but decided an additional guitar player was needed to best represent the recording in a live setting. ACM put out feelers and another old friend, Gino Ciprian (who Mike and Chris worked with at that same restaurant) reached out and despite a few bumps in the road / injuries, Gino learned the songs, added his own flavor, and hopped in the band seamlessly. ACM would play their first show as a 4 piece at the Hardcore for Husvar pre-show in Scranton on July 24, 2026 to great success. The band is now preparing for upcoming shows and the recording and release of its first full length record due out late 2026 / early 2027.
