The River Street Jazz Café, established in 1993, swiftly became the premier venue in NEPA. The Jazz is known for national and regional acts, as well as beloved for local performers.

For three decades, The River Street Jazz Cafe has been synonymous with exceptional music and sound in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our stage has hosted legendary artists, including Maynard Ferguson, Lionel Hampton, Leon Russell, Average White Band, Jefferson Starship, New Riders of the Purple Sage, and Breaking Benjamin. Upcoming acts include Billy Strings, Goose, Lotus, local favorites Cabinet and many others. These musicians have not only graced our venue but have also achieved global recognition, touring across continents.

Our intimate and unique space stands out in an era where small music venues are increasingly rare. We remain committed to creating extraordinary experiences. We provide a platform for bands and artists to weave their musical magic within our vibrant community.

Not only does the Jazz Cafe offer great live acts – ranging from cover bands, original artists, and good old rock and rollers – it also has plenty of food and drink options. The kitchen is open before and during the shows. We offer a menu filled with great bar food, burgers, and small bites.
